MAME Plus hasn't been actively developed since ~2015. Modern MAME (version 0.260+) has fixed thousands of emulation bugs. A "6000 ROMs" pack from 2014 will run poorly—graphic glitches, missing sound, broken controls—on modern hardware.

Only download large archives from reputable emulation preservation sites or community-vetted torrent trackers. Avoid sites that force you to download an .exe file manager to grab the ROMs.
